The Story Behind Project Dining

Behind Project Dining is a lifelong love for food, hosting, and bringing people together around beautiful tables.

From a young age, founder Lara Jaber was always in the kitchen — baking cakes, experimenting with recipes, and learning cooking techniques from her mother and grandmother. Food quickly became more than a hobby; it became a passion.

After studying Hospitality Management, Lara continued her culinary journey at Le Cordon Bleu in London, one of the world’s most prestigious culinary schools, where she developed her skills as a professional chef.


Food That Brings People Together

For Lara, food has always been about connection. It’s the reason people gather — whether it’s lunch with friends, dinner with family, or celebrating special moments.

This philosophy became the foundation of Project Dining, where every catering experience is designed to feel generous, welcoming, and visually beautiful. After all, people truly eat first with their eyes.


From Lebanon to Dubai

Project Dining first started in Lebanon in 2017, where Lara opened a catering kitchen that also hosted supper clubs, private dining experiences, and taught cooking classes.

Due to the situation in Lebanon, she eventually moved to Dubai and rebuilt the brand from scratch. Over the past six years, Project Dining has grown into a well-loved catering company known for its beautifully styled spreads and creative menus.


A Garden of Food

What makes Project Dining different is its approach to presentation. Instead of traditional catering displays, the food is styled to look like a garden of food — abundant, colorful, and inviting.

Grazing boards quickly became one of the brand’s most popular offerings, combining Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors with elegant presentation.


Looking Ahead

Today, Project Dining caters a wide range of events, from corporate gatherings to private celebrations.

The next chapter is already underway with a new catering kitchen and café currently being built in Dubai, continuing the brand’s mission of creating food experiences that bring people together.
